Year 10 Tretherras student Jasmine Mann has been selected to represent Great Britain and Northern Ireland at Rescue 2014, the World Lifesaving Championships.

Jasmine was selected following a really tough trial day on Monday 18 August held during the GB National Surf Life Saving Championships at Exmouth and joins an elite team of athletes in the GB Youth Squad.

At just 14 years old, Jasmine will be the youngest member of the squad which is an amazing achievement.

Following the team selection, Jasmine went on to compete in the GB National Youth Championships and won 3 gold, one silver and one bronze medal.

Jasmine leaves Newquay for Rescue 2014, held at Montpelier and La Grande Motte, France in just 3 weeks time.
