Over the Easter holidays, Newquay Tretherras took a group of 50 students to Zell am See for yet another successful annual ski and snowboarding trip.
Each day, the group took to the slopes in the shadows of the Kitzsteinhorn glacier for five hours of tuition in their chosen winter sport.
The pupils ranged from complete novices to advanced snowboarders and had the pleasure of experiencing excellent piste conditions throughout the duration of their trip.
The students also maximised their time off the slope, taking part in indoor beach volleyball and bouldering, visiting the Tauern Spa and watching an exhibition ice hockey match.
The week concluded with a presentation led by the instructors, who chose Katie Robinson as Snowboarder of the Week and Lia Spurling as the overall Skier of the Week.
Mr Richard Higginson, Ski Trip Leader said, “It was so rewarding to see the progress and enjoyment the students got from the trip. They were a real credit to themselves, both on and off the slopes, exhibiting excellent behaviour and teamwork.”
Tretherras is already now looking forward to the 2016 trip, which is fully booked, with 64 students going to Wagrain, Austria.
